A closer look will show the striped Teepees are actually small carousels with vintage cars beneath the canopies. As attacking rival tribes was a common part of Native American history, I thought it would be fun to mix up the visual meaning of things. For modern soldiers, “Showtime” is a phrase for attack or move forward into danger. So, the idea of a war party coming to experience another type of showtime struck me as funny.
